Join the Poinsett Pounders
Join the Poinsett Pounders for the Second Annual Ride for Ribbon on February 6, 2010 in Badger, SD. All proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research and Education.
To support the event, each snowmobile rider can earn $1000, $500, or $250 exclusive Ride for the Ribbon decals to display on their sled by collecting donations to bring to the event.
Non-riders and single donation riders can purchase a ticket at the door for $25 each. Anyone can support the cause by purchasing tickets for an original John Green painting with tickets at one for $5 or five for $20, as well as pink camouflage Ride for the Ribbon t-shirts for $25 each.

Komen Joins Native American Day Celebration
SD Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure participated in the Native American Day Celebration at Crazy Horse Memorial by educating participants and honoring breast cancer survivors and their families during a special ceremony.

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement.
