Seventy-five percent of the money raised by the Komen South Dakota Affiliate stays in South Dakota to support organizations that offer education, treatment and screening to local residents, particularly who are uninsured or medically under-served. Twenty-five percent of the money raised is used for breast cancer research at the local level.
