How to Get Involved

Komen South Dakota needs your help to end breast cancer forever! It's a fight we plan to win and we hope you'll join us!

Year Round Activities

• Join a committee to organize and promote the Race for the Cure and raise awareness of breast cancer issues.
• Help advance our mission by joining our Education or Grant Committees
• Help organize a Passionately Pink event in your office or within an organization
• Create an event doing something you enjoy in which participants can make a donation to Komen South Dakota (we call these third party events)

BMW Ultimate Drive

• Test drive a BMW during the BMW Ultimate Drive
• Drive a caravan from Sioux Falls to the next location

Race for the Cure

• Assist with Race registration
• Assemble race packets for packet pickup at remote locations
• Distribute Race brochures and posters
• Assist with merchandise sales at Race registration
• Distribute water to race participants at water stations
• Set up and tear down
• Assist local and national sponsors in a variety of capacities
